UltraViolet Devices Earns ISO 14001 Certification

Leading provider of ultraviolet (UV) technologies adds another certification to a growing list of internationally recognized  achievements. UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI) is pleased to announce their achievement of earning the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2004 Environmental Management Certification.  ISO 14001 is a voluntary standard that establishes a framework and sets criteria for an organization’s environmental management system.

The company’s certification to this standard highlights UVDI’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.  It also provides assurance to employees, customers and stakeholders that the company’s environmental impact is measured and continuously improved.

UVDI is a market leader in research, development and manufacturing, but what truly distinguishes the company is its total commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.  UVDI’s recent ISO 14001 certification adds to a growing list of internationally recognized quality accomplishments.  In addition to ISO 14001, UVDI is an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certified manufacturer and is also a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registered medical device manufacturer.
